Butler

A Butler is responsible to provide the highest level of personalized service guests. In liaison with Housekeeping, Kitchen and other departments, a Butler will ensure thorough personal care, attention to detail and anticipating the guest needs to the fullest satisfaction. This includes managing their dining experience, and providing recommendations on local attractions and activities.

A Butler duties and responsibilities may overlap with the duties of other positions in the resort, however it is the butler’s role and responsibilities to take the ownership and ensure absolute guest satisfaction.
As a key contact for the guest a Butler has to be well versed in the full service resort operation in term of general knowledge and resourcefulness.
A Butler must possess and able to perform the duties of:
Room Attendant.
Food and Beverage Server.
Breakfast cook.
Front Desk and Concierges.

Very good verbal and written English skill and other foreign language would be an advantage.
Excellent standard of presentation and grooming at all times.
Service oriented and maintain standard at all times.
An outgoing personality with discreet manner.
Anticipative skill to read the guest needs.
Must be able to work flexible time.
Able to coordinates services for numbers of villas in a complex.
Remain calm under stress and unflappable.
Must possess an extensive knowledge of the island, attractions, restaurants and other activities.
Must be very familiar with Resort facilities, product, activities and operating hours.
Willing to be trained in all aspects and various departments.
Must be able to coordinate with other departments and understand procedure.
Able to assist Sales and Marketing Department to conduct resort site inspections.
